Danvo Bakeries is a producer of pre-baked and deep-frozen bread specialties, located in the South of the Netherlands. Danvo produces all kinds of bread loafs and buns for the catering, food retail and food service industries, worldwide. Focussing on the constant development of different products and flavours, aiming for the use of new ingredients or forgotten raw materials which are not used very often anymore in the current bread market.

Customer need

Danvo Bakeries is investing in their future and wanted to multiply their bakery capacity five times, in order to maintain their continuous growth. The biggest part of the production line needed to be realised in the existing plant, which needed to be expanded in both width and height. A large and complex bakery project in which Integrated Bakery was involved.

Bakery Solution

When Integrated Bakery was involved in the project, basically all choices for most of the main suppliers of the bakery machines were already made. We reviewed the final proposals, which lead to several adjustments and improvements. Thereupon, We have taken care of the bakery design of all the needed electrical and mechanical installations.
During the follow-up phase of the project, we have taken care of the complete bakery project management. This includes all aspects of the project, such as bakery technics, necessary constructional adjustments and installation technology. This, of course, in close collaboration with the project team of Danvo Bakeries.

Project details

  • During the design and tender phase of the mechanical and electrical plan, the energy consumption and the sound emission of different machines has been identified
  • 5000 kg of dough has a maximum pre-proofing time of 1 hour, this makes a proofer superfluous
  • A 4-decks tunnel oven
  • The most optimum use of the available floor space has been realised
  • A bakery production line which can produce frozen dough and pre-baked bread has been developed
