Integrated Bakery starts cooperation with BakeKing Solutions to lift bakery business in East-Africa
In order to further expand the focus on East Africa, Integrated Bakery (IB) starts cooperating with Willem Jongens of BakeKing Solutions (BKS). Willem Jongens will represent IB locally from his office in Nairobi, Kenya.
BKS has 3 pillars of services:
- Supply of raw materials
- Technical maintenance on product quality issues and technical problems on equipment
- Equipment supply and total solutions
The cooperation focusses on pillar 3. When a customer has a need for a total (turn-key) solution and not a single machine, BKS will represent IB since IB is as System Integrator able to put together various bakery equipment, systems and brands and combine them into a complete working technical solution.
Willem Jongens has been active in the bakery industry for 35 years. Being the youngest in a baker’s family, Willem learned from a young age what it is like to be a baker and how to deal with the many challenges in the industry. He has worked all over the world, from the Netherlands to West Indies to Saudi Arabia managing craft and industrial bakeries. Since 2012 Willem lives in Nairobi and recently started his company BakeKing Solutions.

IB will participate in the Food & Drink East Africa exhibition from 28-30 November in the Dome event centre, Nairobi, Kenya.
